Rustad Hotell & Fjellstue is a hotel with an excellent atmosphere. The old, log-walled interior conveys the atmosphere, while guests can be sure of enjoying a high standard of modern comfort. Good food is our hallmark. Mountain air sharpens the appetite, and the buffet lunch and our 3-course dinner are among the highlights of the day. Our kitchen can also provide special dietary food.

Sjusjøen is a traditional mountain resort which has gradually developed into a modern winter destination. The service and accommodation offers are well developed.

Sjusjøen is situated appr. 20 km. northeast of Lillehammer, about 850 metres above sea level. It is surrounded by a lovely forest and mountain terrain, and each winter we have over 300 km. of well prepared ski-tracks.

We also recommend our downhill track Birkebeinerbakken as well as sleigh rides and dog-sledging. The ski-school will arrange different activities each week during the winter season.

We offer accommodation for 90 guests in 46 rooms, all with shower/WC, TV and telephone. Hotel facilities include table tennis, billiards, 2 saunas and first-class ski service.

Sjusjøen offers in total appr. 1000 guest beds in hotels, mountain lodges, apartments, cabins and a caravan camping.
